THE USE OF HISTORIC LENSES

This section of the site illustrates some of the current photographic work made by Paul Lipscombe with a range of historic lenses. While Paul has used some of these lenses for many years, most notably the Rodenstock Imagon series, he has spent several years researching the wider range of options available to photographers since the mid nineteenth century.

The work is now available in published form as "The use of Historic Lenses in Contemporary Photography".

This is a 168 page, fully illustrated guide to the use of the many types of lenses made since 1850 and may be purchased exclusively from Robert White Photographic.
